What is ThumbGate?

ThumbGate Continuity is paid VPS failover for Hermes: when your Mac goes offline, eligible work continues on a fenced cloud runner under the policy you set—synced with the same Hermes agents that run on your machines.

What is Hermes Mobile?

Hermes Mobile is the iOS and Android app that chats with your Hermes agent on your real machines, handles Leash approvals, and switches between paired computers. Chat lives in Hermes; ThumbGate Continuity keeps eligible work running when those machines are offline.

Does ThumbGate open inbound ports on my Mac?

No. The connector dials out over HTTPS with private-key pairing. Your local gateway credential stays on the Mac; ThumbGate uses a separate device identity.

What happens when my Mac is offline?

Without Continuity, free pair/status scaffolding pauses or asks. Eligible trial or paid Continuity tasks continue on a fenced VPS runner so work stays recoverable when the lid closes.

How much does ThumbGate cost?
